Having a large flock of their own, Sam and Jeri know the importance of getting your baby off to a good start in life. All babies are pulled at 2-3 weeks of age. They are hand fed until they refuse formula and are eating on their own. During this stage of their lives, socialization is critical. If not properly socialized you may end up with a bird that you cannot handle. Sam and Jeri work with their babies on a daily basis to ensure a well socialized and happy baby.
Toys are a necessity for your birds. Without toys your bird could become bored and start plucking or picking up some other bad habits (such as throwing food, dumping food bowls, looking for new escape routes, etc.). Toys not only keep your baby from becoming bored but they help your baby in other ways. One of which is parrots need to chew. This helps to condition their beak. All our toys have been tested by members of our flock.
